Review of Watership Down (1978) by Amy W — 11 Feb 2009
Brilliant adaptation of the book although I wouldnt recomend this for young or sensitive children - these animals are snared gassed and are more than willing to tear each others throats out, all of this we see there is no sickly sweet feel at all to this film, no influence from disney at all - thankfully! wonderful film I still love it now 17/18 years after my first viewing - I was not a sensitive child!
