Definitely not for kids. Very violent at times. At times the adaptation is a bit loose from the novel, but most of the important points are covered to one extent of or another. Most of the characters are well established, though so level of detail is missing, such as the nature of the friendship between Bigwig and Kehaar.
Blackberry plays a very small role in the film, and Strawberry is altogether absent. Still a good film.
