This coming of age story is about a gay boy, Goyo, as he discovers himself. Living with his Mexican family in the Coachella Valley, Goyo has a hard time hiding his sexual preferences. Although Goyo seeks acceptance from his father Ramon, Ramon will not accept that his only son is gay. Adding to the situation is that his sister Rosa and Goyo both fall in love with the same guy.
