I ended up screaming at the screen half the time, they really butchered the book. Characters were missing and character's personalities are kind of eh. The book is a historical novel that the director should have really picked up on, not the just the love interest between Jocab and Marlena.
Rosie was the best part of the whole movie, got to say the animals were amazing.
