This is a straight-up Copy-Paste of Moulin Rouge. I ain't talking about the book, haven't read it and now I don't even wanna read it. I was hoping for Robert Pattinson to finally step up as an actor and for Christoph Waltz to go further with his acting success.
Got neither of that. So instead of theatre in Moulin Rouge this movie had circus. I see absolutely no reason why Reese's character was not played by... well let's say Diane Kruger. At least the choking scene in the end would be an exact copy of the scene in Inglorious Basterds.
Anyway, bad job, the way I see it.
