Terrible. Zero chemistry between anyone in the movie -- even though they all have such prominent chins! Nothing is ever at stake, you know how it will work out, the only thing worthwhile is the elephant and she's only in a third of the movie.
It was the worst parts of The Notebook without the best parts of The Notebook plus some carnival stuff that they only kinda get into. Apparently carnival runners were mass-murderers. Missy read the book and had looked forward to seeing the movie (she said the book was so-so but it would make a good movie) and thought it was crap.
