I really don't know what it wrong with this movie, but something doesn't click, Although it follows the book pretty faithfully, it doesn't deliver. Where the book is moving, the movie is bland.
The actors deliver respectable performances, the costumes are beautiful, the cinematography is competent, but all this is not enough to push the film to the next level, and it hovers on "just ok" for two hours.
