Review of Water for Elephants (2011) by Melissa X — 14 Apr 2012
Reminiscent of The Titanic in certain areas, yet a beautiful story told and filmed wonderfully. Whilst I was initially skeptical about Patterson's acting from prior performances in Twilight, I was happily surprised when he surpassed these low expectations.
Witherspoon gives a graceful performance and, despite the film being slightly gory and upsetting at certain points, it has a great ending. Wonderful.
