Review of Water for Elephants (2011) by Meredith W — 09 Dec 2012
A visually engaging film that successfully transports the audience back to the 1930s. The cinematography is splendid, almost magical, fitting with its circus wonderment setting. This lushness compensates for the predictable romantic comedy storyline, in which I never could accept the ever-so-young Robert Pattinson, with the not-so-young-these-days Reece Witherspoon.
