Not great acting, but beautiful actors, so still interesting to watch. The storyline is a little corny and fairytale-like. The stunning cinematography is what saves this piece. Oh my god the use of color was spectacular! And light and shadows, the crisp images.
It was a beautiful movie to look at, though not so much to watch. I think that makes sense...
