Review of Water (2005) by Sabina G — 21 Sep 2007
This is a beautiful and sad story and perhaps important. The performances were subtle and hence even more painful. The moments of pathos are interestingly constructed, whether they occur in stillness in the Ganga river or a crowded railway station.
Seema Biswas lights up the ashram. This movie really made me firmer in my belief that the world is full of brave women and less-than-satisfactory men.
