Some of the effects earlier in the movie were spotty but overall they were decent. I was in the middle of this originally but really liked the director's cut. Patrick Wilson was good as were most of the actors and actresses.
The Vietnam sequences were cool but I didn't like a lot of the soundtrack..Don't get me wrong, they are good songs but I dislike when soundtracks are similar. Many other songs could have been used in places.
Jackie Earle Haley was great in this. His scenes in prison were slam bang. Oh and very pretty ladies are featured.
