I had been following this film for so long, and finally got to watch it. Boy I was so disappointed! Cillian Murphy consistently chooses fantastic scripts, but this one was all over the place. The story wasn't solid enough, it was simply a bunch of pranks strung together and an abrupt ending glued on.
No true beginning, middle, and end. Neil and Violet's relationship never grows, they just fool around a lot. It was kind of funny I guess. The script just needed a bit of fine tunning and the direction was weak.
It is an OK film if you aren't prepared to be too judgmental and aren't expecting much.
