A solid documentary with a compelling story. There are multiple levels of interest in this film, as the daily lives of the "catadores" are intriguing in and of themselves with the added layer of the art project based on them only serving to add more to the exploration.

While not entirely embracing the artistic sensibilities of some of the final products, I found the process and the people in this film worth contemplating.
