Review of Waste Land (2010) by Bill D — 11 May 2011
I'm not convinced that the artist is really trying to help the people who work in the landfill or merely exploiting them for personal gain. This was not an easy movie to watch and even at the end, I still did not feel that the garbage pickers lives are any better than when they were introduced.
It is an eye opener to how extremely poor people in poor countries struggle just to get by.
