Review of Wasabi (2001) by Morgan G — 15 Nov 2007
It is a train wreck of Leon meets Lost in Translation. Jean Reno plays a Paris cop who returns to Japan to find out that he has a daughter. Some intrigue with the Yakuza leads to wave after wave of anonymous henchmen.
There are a couple good moments but most of the movie is a waste. See Kiss of the Dragon, Transporter, Taxi (the original) or something else before you throw away your time with this movie.
