Review of Wasabi (2001) by Christopher O — 10 Oct 2009

This is an over-the-top action movie very reminiscent of the rush hour movies. action packed, humorous at times, and overall a laid back kind of film. jean reno is on bamf mode the entire time.

To me, it's one of those movies that I can watch every now and then and still not get tired of it. this movie is on my own personal classics list. I am also particularly slightly biased because it takes place mostly in japan and it became one of the reasons why I went to japan.

If you liked the rush hour series, then i'd give this one a shot. it's a foreign film, but they have an english dub for it which isn't as good as the original dub, but it has its uses.
