Review of Warsaw Uprising (2014) by Rouce — 03 Aug 2015
Excellent! Simply the best historic "movie" that I've ever seen, because this work has been entirely made from real life documentary materials which were recolored for the most part with few exceptions, so there's not a mentality barrier which tells you "This happened in another era" but makes it believable that it's just 2-3 generations back. Everything you see are real people and real stories and the movie focuses on 2 polish brothers who were filming the warsaw uprising to gather evidence about what happens rather than fighting as soldiers of the Polish Home Army.
It stays interesting and touching mostly and is as propaganda free as something can get. A recommendation for everyone who is interested in the events of WW2.
