Review of Warrior of the Lost World (1983) by Keith P — 07 Aug 2014
As seen on "Mystery Science Theater 3000." I'm sure both Robert Ginty & Persis Khambatta are looking up with eternal shame & watching this film on an loop. Joel Robinson only had to watch it once! (& he escaped eventually.
) Which flaw should I pick first? Misspelling "perimeter"? All flora (& maybe fauna) intact after an apocalypse? Firearms with squirty, electronic noises? "The Paper Chase" guy's incoherent speech? Einstein, the talking bike? As for the positives, there was just one: Megaweapon.
Granted, it was just a souped-up dump truck, but it squashed Einstein. (Forget that Einstein was repaired off-screen & returned for three final lines of gibberish.) But Megaweapon killed the stupid bike, & that's all that matters in this stupid film.
Praise Megaweapon!
