Review of Warm Bodies (2013) by David J — 11 Jan 2015
Takes the well-worn 'Romeo and Juliet' storyline and subverts it in way of zombies and a post-apocalyptic vibe. Amongst the slew of such horror films, this effort adds life to the popular genre with a genuinely charming, and altogether outstanding, Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer as out star-crossed lovers.
There's plenty of fun to be had amongst the special effects, and one can't help but be truly engaged with the material that it's conclusion is easily forgiven.
