Interesting twist on the zombie apocalypse incorporating themes of Romeo and Juliet. I thought it was going to be Twilight with Zombies when I picked it up, only to find that it was a surprisingly refreshing idea.
R is a likable character and, unlike in most sappy supernatural teen romances, Julie didn't make me want to choke some sense into her. Overall, the gore wasn't too much, the romance wasn't too sappy, and the fantasy wasn't too outrageous.
A fun movie with a happy ending.
