Review of Warlords of Atlantis (1978) by Jon N — 26 Mar 2011

This fun fantasy adventure may be cheap and dated, but it isn't half bad. Warlords of Atlantis is a fun little film with some entertaining effects and basic premise that moves the plot along rather swiftly.

The last twenty minutes or so drag on a bit, but that's because we all know how it's going to end, even if the film doesn't know itself. The effects are silly, but better than anything you'll catch on SyFy, and the plot isn't anything new, but Warlords of Atlantis is one of the better Atlantis-centric films out there.
