Review of Warlock (1959) by Rachel B — 14 Jan 2008
I really wanted to love this movie when it first came out. But I saw it opening weekend and absolutely hated it. So after 16 years, I decided to rewatch it. I had some great moments, and some interesting ideas, but sadly, the movie still falls flat.
The main female lead spends the entire movie whining and Richard E Grant just doesn't do the 'fish out of water' role very well.
Julians Sands was great, and the wtichcraft itself was good. The story was pretty decent too.
All in all. It was ok. Nothing special.
