The original Wargames movie with Matthew Broderick is a staple in any hackers movie dictionary. It used valid techniques to obtain the objectives.
This 'sequel' does not. In fact, it pretty much reverses the first movie entirely by using completely stupid Hollywoodised ideas. It's like The Net, only worse.
Amanda Walsh, hot as she is, still makes a better VJ than she does an actor.
Colm Feore was in this, but didn't take a credit. I don't blame him.
Do not watch it because you liked the first one and are looking for a decent sequel. Watch it because it's late at night, you are wicked drunk, and you don't have enough money left for a hooker.
