Review of Wargames (1962) by Anthony H — 24 Oct 2009
A silly yet fun film based around '80s computer hacking and a super-advanced AI bent on playing a sinister practice-game of "global thermonuclear war" between the USSR and the USA... but is the game real? Is World War III about to be sparked? WILL FERRIS GET CAMERON'S FERRARI BACK IN TIME?!
I'll save you the trouble. This movie has Matthew Broderick in it, doing what he does best - playing a light-hearted role. Do you think most of the world will be annihilated in a nuclear holocaust with Ferris as the lead?
'course not. Still, a commendable film worthy of your time.
