Review of Warcraft (2016) by Dominic W — 06 Jan 2018
This film is the best of its kind in the gaming movie genre. Even outside of that category it is still a wonderful fantasy movie that captivates the imagination, and transports you to a different world.
I don't understand why critics have had such a hard time with this film, is it not possible to just relax and enjoy a well balanced film with beautiful cinematic effects? Anyone who says this film has no meaningful narrative is, in my opinion, simply wrong; like in every film there's always room for improvement, but it is clear from the audience reviews that it is mostly enjoyed and well thought of en masse, unlike the smaller group of critics who feel the need to slander and discredit it.
