Review of Warcraft (2016) by Salah A — 25 Aug 2016
An exceptional piece of work and for fans of the actual games, an exceptional piece of "art".
As most already know, one should not pay much attention to the overly critic, critics. The ones of critique these movies for money (work), tend to lack the childlike imagination in us all. It is therefore a fair assumption to assume those of us who video game, far surpass your average non-gamer imagination.
Warcraft the movie did a damn good job of staying with the story line, the best you can in a 2+ hour film. The graphics (a ton of CGI), was spot on. You simply can not over due CGI in a movie about a "video game" ffs. With a fan base of 100 million players, it should be obvious, that while they did their best to reach out to all, the movie itself was more directed towards the game world. I mean, why not? Even with 100 million fan base, viewers, the movie could have succeeded.
In ending, don't listen to the critic jokers...audience score is what it is all about! Also, remember, this was the first movie and per usual, used to build the plot and give people a understanding of the characters and story line. Prepare for an amazing saga to follow!
