First, I am a fan of the RTS and Lore. I only got into WoW as a tourist. So I have been excited for years to see the lore brought to the screen.
So how was it? It ain't an Oscar but it was fun, CGI was amazing, story wasn't too bent on explaining every detail of the lore, easy to follow all the factions. It's pace was a little rushed which caused the transitions to come like rapid-fire but it was still a great movie. It had a lot of subtle references for the Warcraft. It would be a great movie for a fan and a date. The date would still enjoy it just as they would LOTR or GoT. I really don't get what all the critics issues with it are. Maybe they wanted more of WoW and it was Warcraft II instead. Go see it.
