Review of Warcraft (2016) by Loïc D — 27 Jul 2016
After reading some of the angry fans review I felt I had to compensate. This movie can be cheesy at some times, but is also establishes successfully the universe of Warcraft. It sets up a series I look forward in seeing, the story telling is well done, the effects are impressive and immersive, the characters are no caricatures, the plot is rich and unpredictable.
Many hate on the amount of information, and I don't understand. In movies what is not revealed to the spectator is source of extrapolation and stimulates the imagination. More is that once other movies come out more exposition will ensue and that would change and enhance the experience of re-watching the previous movies. Be patient I say for this was a call for support and if the movies get better and better I will certainly not complain. We will maybe witness the birth of a new saga I hope for I don't doubt for a second the people who made this movie made it with passion.
