Review of War Room (2015) by Harlan M — 06 Sep 2015
Two admissions: 1) I'm an evangelical Christian, and 2) I don't believe War Room is the greatest movie ever made. What I DO believe, however, is that movies, good movies, leave you with a different sense of yourself.
You don't see life the same after the experience than before. This movie caused me to recheck my spiritual walk with God. And, hey, I'm a pastor; I'm supposed to be on top of this stuff! Thanks to the Kendricks, we are getting at not only the value but the necessity of prayer.
It IS the way out of life's most troubling circumstances because living is a battle in itself. All good stories give us valuable personal insight, and War Room did it for me.
