Review of War of the Arrows (2011) by Keyman A — 04 Oct 2011
This was surprisingly a really good movie. The acting is well-done, comparable to the highest level of acting in Hollywood movies, especially for this genre. But what really surprised me was the well-directed and heart-pounding action sequences, complete with high-intensity, high-quality chases that end with slick bow-and-arrow battles and heroic moments of triumph that make you exhale what's left of your intestines from holding your breath for so long.
Think "last-second arrows flying out of nowhere to save innocent people in distress"-type thrills. Don't let the fact that this is a Korean movie deter you. I assure you that, at the very least, you'll feel like you got your money's worth watching a suspenseful action drama.
