Review of War, Inc. (2008) by Tuulikki U — 02 Dec 2008
War, Inc. is supposed to be a funny film. And I suppose, it is pretty funny, I was laughing. And it is supposed to be a dark political satire, which it is. I'd say it's a really original, dark film set in the future about how wars are made by American corporations; it is pretty entertaining but pretty disturbing as well.
There are casual murder scenes, random violence, addiction to poison, a slew of cussing, the extreme insanity of soldiers, and the disasters of forcing one culture on another. It's kind of all over the place and kind of fast (at least for me) but pretty funny and thought provoking with a lot of good acting.
