Review of War, Inc. (2008) by Jesse T — 31 Jan 2009
Entertaining, but in all the wrong ways, War, Inc. could've been a witty satire but unfortunately gets bogged down in a juvenile morass. The movie almost makes up for it's shortcomings by casting Hilary Duff in the most un-Hilary-Duff role I could imagine, but unfortunately even that brilliant casting choice can't make up for the endless jokes that fail, satiric shots that miss and special effects that look like they were done on iMovie.
For a better look at John Cusak being an emotionally torn and damaged hitman try the far superior Grosse Pointe Blanke.
