While its No Grosse Point blank ,this film is not a total washout either.
The biggest problem besides an awful Hilary Duff is that the tone is a touch uneven.
What starts as a piss take of the Haliburtonisation of global war then veers into something darker and your left feeling a touch empty after 102 minutes.
That said both Cusaks are good value and Dan Akroyd gets a neat cameo.
I only wish the film hit more targets than it does and that the Hilary Duff parts were cut out totally.
Flawed but interesting.
