Review of War, Inc. (2008) by Masorad ( — 29 Aug 2009
It's too weirdly like Grosse Pointe Blanke.
John Cusak is a hitman . . . again. Joan Cusak works for him in an administrative capacity . . . again. He falls for a dark haired woman and she is horrified when she finds him with a bloody body . . . again.
For God's sake, Dan Aykroyd is even in the film.
The similarities with GPB distracted from the "War on Terror" satire. Plus, I'm not sure a satire can be funny when the subject matter it is satirizing is ongoing.
