Review of War Horse (2011) by Jae C — 08 Jul 2012
Why do people like this movie? It's a dramatic love story between a boy and a horse. There clearly weren't any women in this town his age. The drama is so extreme I felt like I was watching a soap opera, minus the extraneous scandal.
I have three words to remind everyone. IT'S A HORSE! I like animals as much as the next person but the plot was centered around the horse which means it's subject only to it's surroundings.
It's a very weak plot and the majority of the cast took their roles past the point of believability. The score was nice and the cinematography was decent but overall the most overrated movie of the year.
