(Spoiler alert!).

Beautiful story told from the perspective of an amazing horse named Joey. You'll hug your dog (or any living animal/pet at home) right after, I guarantee. Epic battle scenes involving hundreds of horses charging at the same time (not sure how they pulled off the filming), especially the Calvary charge over an open German garrison. See war through the eyes of a horse, and how Joey gave hope to whoever he comes into contact with... a young English Calvary officer who is apprehensive about the war, a pair of German soldier siblings, a jam-making grandfather and his granddaughter, a kind-hearted English soldier and a German soldier coming face to face in no man's land... and how he eventually unites the family he belongs to after four years away.
