Suspense with several plot twists. Sadness and loss were clearly part of the war. Yet hope and love endures. The animals are portrayed with such personality and feeling. You find yourself cheering them on.
Marvelous. Demonstrates the culture of the time to help your neighbor. Something which is woefully lacking in today's society, along with honor, self restraint, and respect.
