Ho hum.. Really poor lighting early on in the countryside scenes made me skeptical of the tone... And it was hard to get a sense of the pacing, was choppy, and disjointed. I wanted to like the movie, but it just did not grab me.
Sure, you gotta love the horse(s) but again somewhat simplistic, and at times just too moralistic!!
