The consistent formula for "Lassie Come Home" but I loved it anyway. The story is predicable, the photography is glorious, and the ending is what I want - happy! Spielberg and John Williams make for an excellent combination of sight and sound.
I like being "slathered." Who needs the real world at the movies?
