Having previously witnessed a movie about paint balling gone wrong before, I didn't hold out much hope for this one being any better............. And that was the right approach to take to save on any disappointment.

As with many low budget horrors, you can take them or leave them, but at least with this one it maintained a consistent level of entertainment, albeit only of an average standard. I can't even remember how the individuals really know one another, or why they go playing war games in the forest in the first place, but they soon realise that what was meant as an afternoon of fun, will end in a nightmare as one by one they are hunted down by a trio of nazi style mercenaries.

Don't ask me why the woods are playing home to such solders as I don't know, but they're there and they're on a killing rampage. The acting is pretty monotone, and the graphics are basic, but the story unfolds reasonably well with a certain degree of gore and unpredictability.

I especially like the ending in this which I definitely didn't see coming and brings what is an otherwise mediocre viewing to an intelligent end. It's not really recommendable as I've forgotten what any of the characters really like look already, and there's no real unique selling point to entice people on - That is except for the price, which I imagine wouldn't have been too far off that of many Poundland items!
