"War for the Planet of the Apes" is a cinematic achievement.
Director Matt Reeves tells a unique and meditative narrative of the last days of Ceaser: the mythical leader of the apes. This story is focused on the war that is raging inside of him, trying to tear him apart. The film is stunning, boasting the greatest special effects I've ever seen, and is emotionally satisfying as it completes the arc of a character fully explored throughout the three films in this franchise.
