A bit emotionally raw, but still a stunning film. I've really enjoyed this reboot series. I was a major fan of the original films which came out when I was a kid. I'd sit glued to the TV every time Saturday Sci-Fi Theater or the Late Late Movie would play them.
I even enjoyed the more ridiculous ones. These films and this one in particular finally bring those older versions up from oddball cult classic to awe-inspiring. And I am totally okay with that.
