After the disappointing second entry this is a really good film. It makes you care about all involved and has an engaging and moving storyline. It's too long, way too long even but if you can stick with it there are some real moving moments.
It's setup for the story to continue and I'm not really sure anyone wants or needs another Apes film but on it's own this is very good.
