First half of movie is apes drudging through snow and feeling sad. When they finally meet the villain, it turns out he is an absolute caricature. Literally: deranged Christian fundamentalist vs proletariat apes, the movie.
Protip: the fact you put a political message into a movie does not stop it from being terrible. Plot is one dimensional, characters have basically zero development. Themes seem slopped together from a Marxist handbook.
Do not watch this rubbish.
