Review of War for the Planet of the Apes (2017) by Ann P — 17 Jul 2017
This was a great finale to the Ape's series. Although it could have been shaved down to two hours, this movie offered great character development, especially on the art of the apes and a dark but powerful story about Caesar avenging his kind and bringing them to freedom while learning how to show compassion at the same time.
Special effects were great as well. It's nice to see a summer blockbuster that actually tells a story rather than just throwing two hours of CGI at us with no plot.
