War Dogs.
Two young men manage to win a $300 million contract from the U.S. government to deal weapons to friendly forces in Afghanistan.
Based on the true story of David Packouz and Efraim Diveroli and their unlikely success as arms dealers who eventually got in over their heads. Director Todd Phillips, mostly known for Old School and the Hangover comedies, tries his best to emulate Martin Scorsese in this darkly humorous crime/drama reminiscent of The Wolf of Wall Street.
Grade: B-.
