Review of War Dogs (2016) by Carey G — 28 Aug 2016
Jonah Hill is the Wolf of Gun Runners. He blasts through this movie like a 5.56mm AK-47 round through a man's chest. He owns it. The backstory is where the film falls apart and there are more holes than a target silhouette.
The movie tries to hard to be a Martin Scorsese flick and is too slick for my taste, but the shear performance of Jonah Hill and the sound track pushes this to 4 bullets. I mean stars.
