Review of Wanderlust (2012) by Adam O — 27 Jul 2012
What a great movie. Similar in tone to another Rudd vehicle, "Our Idiot Brother." But for such a large cast of characters, most of which get equal screen time, everyone really gels. The chemistry between everyone is great! The jokes aren't so much about what is being said, instead relying more on awkward situations with gags I haven't seen before.
The end does feel a bit rushed through. You could tell the writers weren't sure how to rein in all the subplots. Actually, they kind of tie a flimsy bow around a gift that's bursting through the box.
Man, I really liked this movie overall, but the more I think about how it ened, they just gave up.
