A harrowing, haunting, horrifying vision of war, and how firsthand witnesses try to react and contain the emotional damage of the hell they've seen. Through animation, it frames war as a dream rather than a reality, and there is a sort of disconnect that comes with it.
This is purposeful; to show the most awful images almost as if they aren't real. A brilliant documentary.
